How about this for a tool not to be without…

I bought this dvd in the UK recently. It is called ‘A Complete Custom Electric Guitar Build’ and it’s amazing. Didn’t relise at the time that it’s available on Amazon cheaper but it is fantastic.

It shows a complete guitar being built entirely from scratch. It’s filmed great and is quite whitty if you get the UK humour…

I recommed it as a learning tool for any new or experienced guitar builders out there.

Yes, definitely picks. I use a pick holder mounted right under vol/tone pots.

I couldnt live without my music slow downing software. Both the free versions of Quicktime and Windows media player will slow down mp3’s and keep them at pitch. There are also a bunch of sofware options like the Amazing Slowdowner you can buy. Sure makes learning those fast licks easier.
